Hello. I am Zak.
This is an e-portfolio based on my formal education, favorite activites, and any other learning I may have completed, all resulting in a resumé listing the skills and knowledge I've acquired over the years.
About Me
I am a college student currently attending the University of Utah. Previously, I attended Salt Lake Community College. I have lived in Salt Lake City for all of my life, but -- like any normal person my age -- I yearn to see new places. I have been on road trips all over the country (there are only a handful of states I haven't been to), but I'd like to someday visit other countries, as well. When it comes to travel between states here in the U.S., I definitely prefer driving if I have the time. It makes me feel as though I've conquered something. It also creates a sense of completeness in my mind -- as though I've opened up new areas on some sort of mental map. So I'm definitely an adventurous one, but I'm probably a little more on the cautious side of adventure.
Interests
When I am not in class, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, doing yoga, writing, and studying new subjects and hobbies.
Aspirations
I am looking for my next big adventure. There are still many places I want to visit and even more to which I want to return. The camera is charged up and my backpack is packed; drop me a line if you know where I should go next.
