ART 1080 -- Ceramics I (University of Utah)
Instructor: Nolan B

I have enjoyed ceramics ever since I was forced into it when the drawing classes were full in high school. I was hoping to take a course in claywork at the community college, but it wasn't offered while I was there. I was quite let down. Once I found the non-major pottery classes at the U of U, I was quite happy, indeed. As much as I was looking forward to taking this course, even then I had underestimated how much I missed the potter's wheel. It served as  great outlet for everything that had been building to burst within me throughout college life, as well as a refreshing break from the strictly academic associations I had thrown myself into. As it is not yet a requirement to keep up an eportfolio at the university, I do not have pictures of my work on this page, as of yet -- but I fully intend to flesh out a decent catalog of pieces as soon as I can.
