MATH 1210 -- Calculus I (University of Utah)
I first took this course in the Fall of 2013 at the University of Utah. At the time, Calculus was quite new to me. Essentially, I had started an alternate route through Statistics in high school. I will admit that I did struggle more than I ever thought I would in a Math course up to that point. As such, I wasn't entirely content with my grade. I passed and was able to move on, but I wanted to retake it again, alongside a retake of MATH 1050 -- College Algebra. I was hoping to gain a level of mastery that would allow me to tutor and teach in these courses. Although it was a long detour in my college career, I am happy that I retook this course. Not only did I gain new insight in both College Algebra and the first portion of the Calculus sequence, but I was able to build a stronger foundation that would ultimately lead me to success in Calc. II, especially with 1050's introduction to series and sequences.
