In this class, I received the necessary skills to become certified as a scuba diver. I received my training at Neptune Divers in Salt Lake City, Utah and I completed my SSI Open Water Certification at Bonneville Seabase just outside of Grantsville Utah. I would highly recommend this course to those looking to feed a starving sense of adventure while they are stuck in a landlocked state like Utah. Seabase is a natural spring fortified with salt water in order to sustain the marine life exhibited in such a location. It's very exciting to swim next to a nurse shark and various large jacks and angel fish in the middle of a desert state, especially at the end of the winter season when snow is still on the ground outside. Not only did I gain the skills that will keep me healthy and active as a scuba diver throughout my life, but I also learned various skills that will promote my overall lifetime wellness.
